even though mott’s makes those great fruitsation cups that dylan and I both love, I feel better making fresh from organic fruit… don’t call me a hippie just yet. have you snacked on organic fruits and veggies? they’re so sweet they don’t even need extras… add to that these recipes are so damn easy you’ll SMH for not thinking of them yourself.
1 apple -or- pear, sliced
2 small carrots, chopped into small pieces
1/4 cup spinach or kale
1/4 cup blueberries
add apple and other veggies to pot of boiling water and let simmer for 20 mins or until soft enough to be mushed with a fork. add leafy greens 5 minutes before taking off the heat. if just boiling apples, drain and smash to desired texture. you can add 1/8 of brown sugar and a pinch of cinnamon here if you’d like.
if adding other veggies, blend in food processor until smooth. spoon into reusable food pouches and enjoy!
